COURSE PREREQUISITES:

This course is designed for Foot Care Nurses​​​

COURSE FORMAT:

This is a 1-day workshop. 

Class takes place from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Schedule is provided at the workshop.

Lunch is one hour and is the responsibility of the student.

COURSE ACTIVITIES:

This workshop is hands-on with instructor-led theory in the morning followed with clinical experience in the afternoon.  The clinical portion involves practical application of skills with supervision.

COURSE TEXT AND RESOURCES:

No text is required for this course. All handouts and materials will be provided throughout the course.

 ​

SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT:

Please wear scrubs.

All sterile foot care instruments and podiatric drills are provided for the workshop.

The Starter Kit is distributed at the workshop and is included in the tuition fee.

Onyfix & Podoexpert Certification: $339 + 5 Onyfix applications

​

The Onyfix Starter Kit is $535 ($635 value) and includes:

  • 1 Blue Light 

  • 1 USB compatible charging cord

  • 6 cannulas for Onyfix Soft Composite

  • 4 cotton swabs

  • 1 Hard Composite

  • 1 Soft Composite

  • 1 Nail Primer

  • 1 packer tool/spatula

  • 2 FREE burrs - 1 diamond burr and 1 ceramic burr

This kit contains enough composite for the required 5 Onyfix applications for Certification PLUS 75 MORE APPLICATIONS!​

STUDENT EVALUATION:

  1. Written exam for Podoexpert and Onyfix

  2. 5 Onyfix applications

 

Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants receive Certification in Onyfix & Podoexpert.
